- Deliver logistics and technical support
- Action weekly Technical Assessor duties technical data analysis, logistics, inventory, planning
- Provide technical advice to other teams
- Transfer skills/knowledge to other teams

Essential:

• Demonstrated experience with a minimum three years as a Defence Aviation Technical Assessor in maintenance and/or logistics.
• Demonstrated experience with a minimum three years using Defence logistic and maintenance data tool sets.

Desirable:

Aircraft Structural Contractors prides itself as a business leader in aviation as a CASR Part 145 approved repair centre for a wide range of aeronautical products, together with aviation labour hire and AOG recovery service to operators.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage and oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic aviation environment.

This position is 25 hours per week, on-site, preferably 5 hour days, 5 days a week at our Caboolture facility, with a start asap.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable/Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filing
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Managing the day-to-day accounting transactions
- Liaising with the external Accountant for annual accounts and tax queries
- Reconciliation, preparation and lodgement of monthly or quarterly business activity statements (BAS)
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Processing payroll and other related payroll tasks
- Basic HR administrative tasks

Aircraft Structural Contractors are seeking a dynamic team member to join us at our Caboolture office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry and financial processing in Xero.
• Manage payroll processing, including contractor invoices and fortnightly staff payroll.
• Process expense on-charging and customer invoicing for facilities and workshop job clients.
• Create, monitor and ensure accuracy of job cost allocations and client charge-outs.
• Assist with end-of-month, quarterly, and annual reconciliations, including bank, payroll,
and superannuation accounts.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Conduct client debt collection and follow-up on outstanding invoices.
• Liaise with internal teams regarding purchase orders, job allocations and financial processing.
• Process payroll fortnightly, distribute payslips and remittance advice to staff and contractors.
• Manage fleet administration, including vehicle registrations, insurance, and toll accounts (e.g.,
Go Via).
• Maintain staff leave entitlement records, reporting, and leave request documentation.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and perform general accounts administration tasks.
