There has been a lot of ongoing concerns from community members & those who support the return of the full Savannahlander trip to Forsayth from Cairns, after the official Ministerial Response to the Qld petition.

MEMBER for Hill Shane Knuth is increasing pressure on the Government to commit to full funding to repair the 424km rail line from Cairns to Forsayth for the Savannahlander rail journey.

Only 218 signatures required now to reach the 10,000 required for a ministerial response, and today is the last day.

While there has definitely been a great outcome so far for the future of The Savannahlander in recent announcements, we're so close to 10,000 it would be great to get this across the line to help ensure that there will be a commitment by the state government to work towards ensuring that the full Cairns - Forsayth trip will happen, through the funding of repairs to the affected sections of track.

Please note that this petition is a Queensland state petition, meaning that it can only be signed by those with a Qld postcode.
