Building your next chapter in business? Here’s something you need to know:
AI isn’t here to replace your wisdom—it’s here to work for it.

Too often, as soon as AI comes up, I see business owners tighten.
Their body language shifts—like they’re bracing for something confusing, cold,
or about to make their work irrelevant.

Not because they don’t see the benefit… but because it feels like
it’s taking over.

This carousel is a gentle reframe.
👉🏽 What if you stayed in the driver’s seat—and let the tech do the heavy lifting?

Swipe through to explore how AI can support (not replace) your strategy,
your voice, and your lived experience.

Your wisdom still leads.
Your story still matters.
Let’s build smarter—with the right tools, on your terms.

Marketing from the In-Between
Where soul replaces survival

When I was younger, I wanted nothing more than to fit in.
Frizzy hair, same clothes on rotation, a name that felt too hard to pronounce.
I ironed my curls flat—hoping I could iron out the parts of me that didn’t match the room.

Even in business, that survival instinct followed me.
Be polished.
Be prepared.
Be palatable.

But a coach said something that stopped me in my tracks:
“Our personality is the conditioned version of our soul.”

It landed deep.

I realised I had built not just a life—but a brand—around what made others comfortable.
I showed the capable version. The safe version. The version that didn’t make too much noise.

But it wasn’t all of me.
Not the fire.
Not the frizz.
Not the history.
Not the quiet ache of being from a culture I love, yet feeling on the edge of it.

That’s the diaspora experience.
You grow up navigating multiple cultural expectations—your ancestral one and the dominant one where you live.
You carry both pride in your heritage and the pain of not always feeling “at home” in either place.
You raise or witness the next generation—your grandies—walking the same tightrope, searching for belonging.

So now, in business, I’m choosing differently.

I no longer market from performance.
I market from presence.
From wholeness.
From soul.

A recent article explains how diaspora networks can be a powerful force
in marketing—not because we follow trends,
but because we build from shared memory, identity, and trust.

If you're navigating this path:
You don’t have to smooth your edges to lead.
You don’t have to sound like the crowd to be heard.
You are not “too much” or “not enough”—you are the bridge.
And you get to build a business that reflects all of you.

Let this be our shift:
From conditioned to conscious.
From survival to soul.

We’re taught to assume slow sales mean a weak offer.
But what if your offer isn’t broken—just invisible?

A practitioner recently asked: “How can you fix my offer?”

Let’s zoom in.
She had written books.
Created courses.
Clients referred her often.
But she wasn’t seeing steady sales.

What we uncovered was this: her offer wasn’t the issue.
How do I know this?

Not only was she getting sales...her clients were mainly from referrals and recommendations
That's market validation right there.

She just wasn’t showing up where more of her people were looking.
So we shifted the question from “How do I fix this?” to
“How do I guide more people to it?”

Here’s how you might begin:
• You might try sharing the backstory of why your offer exists
• Another option is to spotlight one transformation you’ve seen
• If it feels right, audit where your audience currently discovers you

🔍 Reflection—ask yourself: Am I focusing on fixing what already works, instead of widening my reach? 🌿

After attending , I left with a full heart—and a clear decision.

The stories shared, the depth of connection, the fierce wisdom in the room… reminded me just how much our world needs the leadership of women over 50.

But too many of us are still battling invisibility.
Still navigating systems that weren’t built for us.
Still trying to build businesses that reflect our voice,
while carrying the weight of being underestimated for far too long.

So I’m offering something personal.
Starting June 1,
I’m opening space to work with 5 women in business over 50—at no cost—for a 3-month period.

This is not a course, a funnel, or a lead magnet.

It’s an invitation to work with me directly, with structure and support, in a way that honours who you are now.

This is for you if:
⁕ You’ve lived a full life and want your business to reflect your depth and values.

⁕ You’re tired of the noise and just want real, grounded support.

⁕ You’ve been told to shrink, stay small, or wait your turn—and you’re done with that.

⁕ You want clarity in your offer, visibility in your presence, and confidence in how you show up.

What’s included:
✔️ 3 months (June–August 2025) of personalised business growth support

✔️ Strategy sessions, practical tools, and space to refine your message

✔️ A focus on visibility, alignment, and momentum

No cost—just reciprocity

If you find value, I simply ask for feedback, a testimonial, or a reflection that could help another woman feel less alone.

This is about restoring dignity to how we grow—especially for women like us who are often left out of the narrative.

Why me?
I’m Taga Iose, 59 years old, a business growth consultant.

My background spans banking, trauma-informed financial coaching, and digital marketing since 2018. I'm currently completing a Bachelor of Business (Marketing)—because growth doesn’t stop at any age.

I’ve rebuilt—more than once. I’ve walked through reinvention.
And I’ve made it my mission to support others to grow without
losing themselves in the process.

I’m clear on my purpose now—and this offering is part of that.
🔸 5 women. 90 days. Starting June 1.

If this sounds like you, or someone you know, message me directly.
Let’s talk.

The world needs what you carry. Let’s make it visible—together.

One of the biggest changes I made this year was
treating my weekends like part of the business plan—not an afterthought.

I don’t take meetings past 8am on Saturdays.
I don’t push content.
I check in with myself, not my calendar.

What surprised me is how much clearer I feel when Monday comes.

I’m not dragging myself forward. I’m ready to lead.
I learned that I don’t need to earn rest.
I need to plan for it.

Especially if I want to stay in this work for the long haul.

What’s working right now:
• I leave my phone in another room until after breakfast.
• I take walks just to think—no headphones, no agenda.
• I protect one “quiet hour” each weekend to reset.

Stat: Even 10-minute breaks have been shown to reduce fatigue and improve cognitive focus. (Psychology Today, 2022)

You don’t have to earn your rest. You just have to value it.

🔍 Reflection—What time this weekend can you protect,
not to recharge for more work—but just for yourself? 🌿

There’s a belief that to be taken seriously, you need to be always available.

I used to buy into that too.

Every message got a reply.
Every idea needed immediate action.
That rhythm wore me down.
And more importantly—it didn’t improve my work.

Now that I’m working full-time in another role, I’ve had to be more deliberate.

I work fewer hours on my business.
But those hours are sharper, more focused, and
more connected to what really matters.

Here’s what helped me:
• I defined what work I’m best at and trimmed the rest.
• I built systems and invested in talent that know the role better than I so I’m not doing it all alone.
• I made peace with growing slower—but growing better.

Stat: Stanford research shows productivity drops after 55 hours a week. More time doesn’t always mean better outcomes. (Stanford University)

There’s nothing lazy about protecting your energy.

🔍 Reflection—What would change if you trusted yourself to
move slower and still deliver well? 🌿

07/05/2025

When I first started offering services, I followed all the usual advice.

Set a high price. Don’t justify it. Don’t offer alternatives—it “devalues” the work.

It didn’t sit right.
And it didn’t reflect how I wanted to show up.

So I made a change:
I offered sliding-scale pricing for certain workshops.

I opened space for people who wanted to engage but didn’t always have the budget up front.

That shift was possible because I had consistent income from my full-time role.

I wasn’t relying on every offer to cover every bill.

The trade-off? I had less time—but more flexibility. And more integrity.

Here’s what shifted:
• My registrations filled faster.
• I felt more connected to the people attending.
• I trusted myself more—because the pricing reflected the purpose.

I created a group program valued: $1500 for $440 AUD.
I offered a sliding-scale offer.
I was transparent about the price offer of $440 AUD.
I also coached them in our 1-1 call on how to consider a price-point they could manage
by sharing the Green Bottle method (see model explanation in the picture).

I also went against what current sales tactics say to:
- Get the credit card commitment on the day.

Instead, I told them I did not want a commitment during the call.

I asked them to jump off the call, re-read the definitions.
Know the truth of their financial situation, and send me their response.

I advised them they would not hear from me.
I advised we would be proceeding with the group the following week if
they wanted to join the program.
I did not call, message or contact them.

Result?:
Every single call joined the group program.
- 20% paid in full up-front
- 80% offered payment arrangements for the full price that fit their household budget.
- Only 1 did not finish the payment plan.

The trust that was built? You can’t fake that.

So, You might try:
• Asking yourself: does my pricing reflect who I want to work with?
• Adding a one-line explanation that names the values behind your rate.
• Offering one small way for people to access your work without shame.

It’s not about discounting your worth.
But working with your client to build trust.

And designing your business around what matters most—to you, and to your clients.

🔍 Reflection—Where could you align your pricing or
access model with what you believe in? 🌿

Sometimes the real shift isn’t in the offer.

It’s in how clearly you show people who you are.

This week I shared why I took on full-time contract work—and how it’s helping me build my business with more intention, not less.

I’ve received more meaningful engagement from that post than from anything I’ve done in months.

Why?
Because people connect with honesty.
Not perfection.
Not pressure.

Just a clear reason for why you’re doing what you’re doing.

I’d encourage you to share one real trade-off you’ve made lately in your business.

It doesn’t have to be polished. It just needs to be real.

You could:
• Post about a boundary you set recently and why.
• Tag someone who helped you get clear on your direction.
• Share one thing that’s working for you—especially if it’s not what’s “typical.”

Stat: 64% of people are more likely to support a business when they feel it reflects their values. (Think with Google, 2019)

There’s no perfect time to share. Start with where you are.

🔍 Reflection—What decision have you made lately that
helped you build your business on your own terms? 🌿

What happens when you stop doing everything yourself?

It sounds obvious,
but for years I believed I had to be across every task in my business.

Learning the tech.
Writing the copy.
Managing every email, every proposal.
I thought I was being efficient—but I was just exhausted.

That’s the trap:
What looks smart on paper can cost you real energy, focus, and growth.

So I asked myself:
What’s the trade-off of continuing like this?

And what would it take to do things differently—without compromising on care, connection, or results?

That question led me to take on full-time work in paid contract for a year.

Not as a step back, but as a way forward.
Now, I support two core clients with one launching two businesses.

I do the strategic direction.
I stay in direct relationship with the client.

And I’ve hired others to handle the technical delivery and production tasks.

My time is now focused on what I do best—and what actually moves things forward.

Here’s what changed:
• I stopped trying to do everything just because I could.
• I reallocated budget (from income, not guesswork) to hire capable people talent.
• I set clear hours for client work and protected space for thinking.

Client result:
One of the businesses we’re building hit momentum early—not because we rushed, but because everyone stayed in their role.

I listened, directed, and stayed connected.

My team delivered.
That balance only works because I’m no longer working from scarcity.

Stat: 68% of business owners report spending too much time in the business—not on it.
(The Alternative Board, 2024)

You might try:
• Looking at where your attention goes vs. where it’s needed.
• Writing down your best 2–3 skills, and asking, “Am I prioritising these?”
• Hiring a small amount of help—even a few hours—to test what shifts.

This isn’t about stepping back.
But stepping into the version of your work that reflects who you are—not
what the business expects you to be.

🔍 Reflection—What’s one trade-off that would help you
run your business more on your terms? 🌿

“Caring for myself is self-preservation.” — Audre Lorde

Last year I had to face a hard truth:
I had become the bottleneck in my business.

Not because I wasn’t working hard—but because I was doing too much of the wrong work.
Everything depended on me.

Every project, every decision, every deadline slowed down waiting for my input.

That kind of pressure wasn’t sustainable.

So I made a decision that might seem confusing from the outside.

I signed a full-time job contract—for one year.
Why?

Because when I was full-time in my business, I kept trying to do it all.

I’d learn new tools to save money, do the admin, manage everything myself.

But the cost was high: limited output,
slower growth,
and constant stress.

Now, with a consistent income, I can fund good people to do the heavy lifting.

I’m no longer operating from pressure or panic.

I’ve kept two clients.
I stay focused on what I do best—direct consulting.

I manage a small talent team to deliver high-quality work.

And I stay close to the client relationship
because that’s where I can add the most value.

Since I know my client deeply, I can guide work that reflects their goals—often
better than they could articulate themselves.

What’s the trade-off if we keep doing it all?

For me, it was time, clarity, and peace of mind.

Letting go of that was worth it.
• I protect mornings for deep thinking before checking messages.
• I stay within my zone of genius—what I do well and enjoy.
• I plan for growth, not just survival.

34.4% of entrepreneurs report burnout.

Most of us aren’t lazy—we’re just overloaded. (FounderReports, 2024)

You’ve been doing the work.
Not just the strategy and systems… but the soul work.
The unlearning. The boundary-setting. The inner reparenting.

Take a moment to exhale.

This weekend, gift yourself a pause.
Not because you’ve earned it.
But because you’re human. And wholeness needs rest.

🌸 Journal: What belief am I shedding this season?
🌸 Reflect: Where do I no longer need to hustle for worthiness?
🌸 Ground: What part of me needs gentleness right now?

You’re not here to just perform wellness for your audience.
You’re here to live it.
Let that ripple through everything you create.

Rest,
You’re rising already.
