After winning this category in 2025, being recognised as a finalist reflects the continued momentum of the past twelve months. I dropped into Helimods earlier this week before heading to Canberra, to congratulate Will and the whole team on their incredible success at the 2025 Premier of Queensland Export Awards.

Their wins in International Health, and recognition in Regional Exporting, Manufacturing and Technologies speak volumes about the world-class capability we have right here in Fisher.HeliMods isn’t just a great local business, it’s an important part of our mission-critical aviation ecosystem. Their technology is supporting front line responders, supporting communities and saving lives across Australia and around the world. We had productive discussions about their future projects and the opportunities ahead for growing Fisher’s defence industry.

Proud to back innovators who are putting the Sunshine Coast on the global stage.
