What a fantastic morning at Ours. By the Beach, Moffat Beach, for this month’s Coffee in Caloundra networking event!
With more than 80 local businesses in attendance, with Andrew Wallace - LNP Federal Member for Fisher, Chamber Committe Members, and community leaders, the morning was a great reminder of the strength and spirit of our local business community.
Over coffee and ocean views, attendees shared ideas, built new connections, and strengthened existing relationships. Events like these continue to highlight the value of collaboration and the important role networking plays in supporting local business success.

A sincere thank you to the team at Ours. By the Beach for their warm hospitality and for providing the perfect setting for our monthly catch-up!

As the Moffat Beach seawall restoration works continue, we encourage everyone to keep supporting local cafƩs, retailers, and businesses. Every visit makes a difference and helps keep our vibrant beachside community thriving during the works.
Thank you to everyone who joined us—we look forward to seeing you at the next Coffee in Caloundra event.

Sunshine Coast Council has adopted its 2026–27 Budget, delivering a $296 million Capital Works program focused on transport, community infrastructure, business precincts, environmental protection and regional resilience.

For Caloundra, two key investments stand out:

šŸš— $71 million for the Caloundra Transport Corridor Upgrade to improve access to local beaches, cafĆ©s and business centres while reducing congestion through surrounding residential areas.

🌳 $5.7 million for a new Caloundra Town Square, creating a greener, more connected city heart linking Bulcock Street, the Events Centre, Library+ and the Caloundra Regional Gallery.

The budget also includes investment in major events and tourism, disaster resilience initiatives, community facilities, parks, pathways, streetscapes and stormwater infrastructure across the Sunshine Coast.

These projects represent significant investment in the places, infrastructure and public spaces that support our local economy, businesses and community.

What if business growth required more than just learning?

At the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce, we believe strong businesses build strong communities.

While professional development remains important, real growth happens when learning is combined with meaningful connections, collaboration, advocacy and opportunities to contribute to something bigger than ourselves.

That's why we're launching the Elevate Business Series.

A new program designed to help local business owners, professionals and leaders strengthen their capabilities while building relationships with others who are committed to growing a stronger Caloundra economy.

Our first session, Learning for Leaders, will be facilitated by leadership expert Jacqueline Delarue and explore a question every leader should ask themselves: What is the true cost of playing it safe as a leader?

This dedicated two-hour workshop will challenge your thinking, strengthen your leadership and connect you with ambitious people who are committed to growth.

This one is for our Caloundra Chamber members...

For the month of June, we've got two exclusive member offers designed to help you get more value from your membership (and potentially score yourself a pretty impressive morning tea).

šŸ“£ Exclusive Caloundra Chronicle Advertising Opportunities

Through our partnership with the Caloundra Chronicle, Chamber members have access to special advertising rates throughout June.

Whether you're promoting a new service, sharing a success story, launching a campaign or simply looking to increase your visibility, this is a fantastic opportunity to get your business in front of more local customers across print and digital channels.

Interested? Email [email protected] to learn more.

ā˜• Refer a New Member & Win a Martin Duncan Scone Party

Know a business that would benefit from stronger local connections, increased visibility and being part of a thriving business community?

Refer them to the Chamber and if they join during June, you'll go into the draw to win a Martin Duncan Scone Party delivered to a location of your choice in Caloundra.

Simply:

1ļøāƒ£ Think of a business that should be a member
2ļøāƒ£ Introduce them to the Chamber via email
3ļøāƒ£ If they join in June, you're in the draw

Because great business communities don't grow by accident. They grow when local businesses support one another.
