International Manufacture, Procurement and Logistics Manager
Job Description
As the International Manufacture, Procurement and Logistics Manager for Frog Global, you will be responsible for the delivery of modular housing units & associated modular construction related items from the order phase through to onsite delivery.
You will be negotiating with suppliers, factories and transport companies in various countries, and in various languages, to obtain the best outcome for our clients.
As part of your role, you will be responsible for supervising the manufacturing process of modular housing units & associated modular construction items for international & domestic orders.
A good eye for detail will be required to monitor the quality of the manufacturing and delivery phases.
You will require a basic knowledge of the building & construction standards related to the country the modular product is destined.
Another important role, your position will entail, is coordinating & monitoring logistics for the final product throughout China, Australia and New Zealand’s ocean & land networks.
Mediating international trade risk and meeting the targeted budget & delivery KPI’s this role demands will require excellent time & resource management skills.
Maritime business &logistics, supply chain management and company structure knowledge is essential to this role.
Essential Requirements:
1. Degrees in Logistics & Supply Chain Management
2. Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
3. Specialising in international logistics and procurement.
4. Excellent knowledge of customs regulations, policies and procedures.
5. Banking skills in international trade.
6. Must be familiar with the modular housing industry and building standards of China, Australia and New Zealand.
7. Must have excellent time management, negotiation and communication skills.
8. Must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
9. Be willing to work in a growing company and understand Australasian company culture.
10. Have a proven record of delivering quality products via international markets.
11. Must have Business Development, international accounting & company structure knowledge.
12. Be fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Preferred Requirements:
1. Be able to relocate to Shanghai and travel internationally.
2. Male candidate due to international business culture.
3. Willing to FIFO when required.
Salary Package:
Remuneration package will be based on previous experience and qualifications.
