I have a story about this photo.........Its one of those ones I have not been able to show you but today it needs to be out there for the world to see.

This is Honey Jumbles. Old, dumped and left to die until an angel came and scooped her up and made her one of her own. I was very lucky to be taking her photo as part of a calander shoot, however her new mum warned me with "she's adorable, but she fidgets and youll have a hard time taking her pic - let alone get a good one".

Her mum asked me was I ready, gently placed her on the ground, I called her name and this happened. Now yes its a great photo - but what makes it remarkable is this was the first - and only frame I took. It was perfect, there was nothing to tweak, to take again just in case, to try a different angle, different background, the light was Natural and spot on and she even centered herself on the background - it was - perfect. Something I have never done before taking just 1 frame. I looked at her mum, her mum looked at me and we both went " well - that was easy"

Maybe she knew that her time left on earth was short and wanted to say thankyou to her new mum without wasting her time to produce an image that will touch the hearts of many in march 2017.

You see last night her mums heart broke when she gave Honey Jumbles her wings.

I know that Honey appreciated each and every day she had with her new family and you can see it as well as she tells you (and I) with her eyes - she knew she was loved, and she was content.

I have photgraphed hundreds of dogs and I will never forget my 1 frame dog. Sleep well little one - now you can rest. "Paws for Thought" Rescue

We dont post much on FB these days cos really when your post reaches 10 people out of 2000 you kind of feel like your talking to yourself. But anyways...... That doesnt mean we arnt working hard as their is life away from FB. Happy to say we have finally finished photographing every living WW2 in or area with a massive 46 vets photographed by 4 photographers who all volunteered their time to give something back.

Here is a collage of our last big day out at Sussex inlet that we presented to the Sussex Inlet RSL sub branch as our gift to them for their service. Pretty cool huh! Oh - and one of these fine young vets is 100 years strong :)
