There was also plenty of time to connect, catch up and build relationships with other local businesses.

Big congratulations are in order for Pooley Wines, a member making the Eastern Shore proud with a prestigious state award. 🍷

Back in June, Pooley Wines celebrated a major achievement, taking out the prestigious Tasmanian Vineyard of the Year Award at the Royal Hobart Wine Show.

Unlike traditional wine show trophies, this award recognises far more than the wines entered for judging. It reflects a producer's year-round commitment to excellence, acknowledging consistency in wine quality, sustainable vineyard management, environmental stewardship, and responsible business practices.

To mark the honour, Pooley Wines welcomed the Royal Hobart Wine Show committee, along with industry leaders and wine enthusiasts, to a vineyard field day at their Richmond cellar door on Friday 26 June 2026. Guests experienced the Pooley story firsthand, gaining insight into the family's approach to viticulture, sustainability and winemaking, and discovering exactly why Pooley Wines earned this highly coveted recognition.
