Expressions of Interest closed for 'The Sabuncuoglu Scholarship' on Friday the 27th of September, 2024.

We'd like to thank our community, friends and network for the promotion of the scholarship as the opportunity it provides for our future young Indigenous leader is immense and immeasurable at this point.

It's been an incredible last few weeks, capturing the very essence of who we are as Australians, in the knowing/being/doing aspects from both Indigenous and Non-Indigenous peoples when it comes to National NAIDOC Week 2024.

We've had the pleasure of facilitating the below events as part of our contribution to NAIDOC Week

- Cultural Confidence Workshop on Gundungurra Country (Goulburn)
- Cultural Confidence Workshop on Dharug Country (Berkshire Park)
- Attending Geoffrey Pearce Correctional Facility NAIDOC Day Celebrations (Dharug Country)
- Acknowledgment of Country Workshop with GSK (Various Countries including Wurundjeri/Taungurong and Dharawal)
- Significance of NAIDOC Week and Truth-telling with Energetics (Home of the Cammeraygal People)
- Announcement of Natalie Sabuncuoglu as external advisor on Energetics RAP Work Group
- Significance of NAIDOC Week and how we can do more? with Gartner Australia (Home of the Cammeraygal People)
- Aboriginal Art Workshop at Gartner Sydney Offices (Home of the Cammeraygal People)
- Attended Burramatta NAIDOC (Dharug Country)

We're excited to continue our tailored approach and the opportunity to fulfil on our vision to shift impactful conversations into action.

Our model is to educate and empower others to take action, not do it for you.

If you are a leader in your organisation and see gaps from the 'knowing' to the 'doing' and 'being', please reach out to us for a friendly chat.

It's been a huge week and rightly so, given the significance of NAIDOC Celebrations and the opportunity to once again walk alongside all of our brothers and sisters.

We often say, 'knowing' more of something doesn't necessarily produce an outcome. It's in the 'doing' and willingness to be comfortable with being uncomfortable, where transformation and the miracles lay.

GSK, Thank you for providing us with the platform to fulfill on our vision of 'shifting impactful conversations into action' and our mission in 'continuing culture'.

We were super excited to be approached in 2023 where this journey first began with Karitane.

Managing Director, Natalie Sabuncuoglu, was involved in the initial planning and meeting sessions with Village Connect and other stakeholders including Sonder, Uniting and the parents of young bubs to get their take on what they wanted, their vision, purpose and to hear their story.

The artwork named "Ngali Yanhagirri” – Wiradjuri for “We will go together” is significant for many reasons. It takes a village to raise a child and to move together, into the right direction.
