This National Farm Safety Week, everyone involved in agriculture is being encouraged to set the standard and lead by example.

The way we approach safety each day influences the people working alongside us, including our family members, employees, contractors and the next generation. By taking the time to do each job safely, speaking up when something does not look right and avoiding unnecessary shortcuts, we can help protect ourselves and those around us.

At TLG, we encourage everyone across agriculture to put farm safety into practice—not only this week, but every day.

It was wonderful to welcome some of our URUS family to TLG last week, with Roger Turner, Jetstream Genetics stopping in during his visit to Australia with Phil and Cathy from Jetstream Genetics Australia.

Roger shares a lot of strong connections around the world and admires many great Holstein Sires. One of these being the great Holstein sire, Ladino Park Talent that we are very proud to say he stood at TLG. The last time Roger visited TLG, Talent was still on centre, so it was only fitting to revisit his resting place and take a photo with his statue.

After a five year break, livestock farmers in China will use Australian genetics to produce premium beef for traditional dining and hot pot markets.

Was great to have approximately 80 people in attendance today at the “Bulls on Parade” as part of the Angus Australia AGM program. With 4 companies displaying bulls we hope all those that attended had an enjoyable afternoon.

As we enter Autumn joining, our TLG team continue to work alongside the STgenetics laboratory here at Camperdown, to produce fresh sexed semen.

This product allows farmers the ability to have sexed semen collected from a bull on centre in the early hours of one morning and into cows/heifers the very next morning.

A service we offer to deliver an efficient option designed to maximise conception outcomes during joining season.
