I have been really quiet this wedding season due to being overseas on a bucket list holiday for most of it… and then when I got home I totally forgot to get my usual selfies for the weddings I did officiate 🤷‍♀️🤔😂

But on Sunday I had the pleasure of marrying Caitlin and Brad at one of my favourite Canberra venues, Gold Creek Station.

Caitlin and Brad were the last of my covid couples and it was so lovely to share their story with a small group of their family and friends. Congratulations Mr and Mrs F! I hope you have a wonderful married life together 💕

Yesterday I officiated my last wedding for the season and it was a great one! The bride and groom were so sweet and had the cutest back story… it was an absolute pleasure writing their bespoke and personalized ceremony and then reading it in front of their nearest and dearest, at one of my favorite Canberra venues - Gold Creek Chapel. Congratulations Jess and Will… thanks for choosing me 💕 ps. A bit of a different selfie to my usual kind, but I couldn’t get near the bride and groom 🤷‍♀️😊

Alicia and Lachlan met back when they were teenagers working at McDonald’s… (btw, this wasn’t my first McDonald’s wedding lol!). It took them a while to notice one another and initially , their feet were firmly planted in the friendship… but then something magical happened. The planets aligned and they realised they both wanted something more, which is where I came in 😊 It was my absolute pleasure to officiate their wedding! We had soooo much fun and everyone celebrated their union with laughter. Congratulations guys - I wish you a lifetime of wedded bliss! 🩷

This might shock you, because I still look like a 21 year old 😂, but I’ve been a celebrant for so long that I officiated the Naming Days for every child in this photo! It started 7 years ago with Sophie, and a couple of years after that along came Tyler, and today I had the honour of finishing things off with the gorgeous Isabelle… hopefully the next ceremony I do for this family will be the marriage of mummy and daddy!! Congratulations Jess and AJ… it was an honor to be chosen by you once again to celebrate your third and final child… she’s absolutely gorgeous 🩷

It was an absolute joy to hear Zoe and Dan’s story and then mould it into their personalised wedding ceremony… they first met when they were 15 and have never looked back - both solid in their commitment that they were blessed to meet their ‘person’ at such a young age. They chose the gorgeous Ginninderry Homestead for their marriage and celebration, and despite the fact it was 35 degrees, they both never stopped smiling! Congratulations Zoe and Dan… thank you for choosing me to tell your story ❤️

Today was a beautiful day to officiate Nan and Jack’s wedding … they chose Water’s Edge restaurant for their celebration, which provided a beautiful view for them to start their married life… friends and family travelled from all over the globe to see this very cute couple tie the knot and aside from a few happy years, everything went perfectly. Congratulations Nan and Jack, I wish you all the best 🩷

Oops! I nearly forgot to post this… and it was such a special wedding I would have been disappointed if I didn’t share. I first came across Ciara and Brad when I married Ciara’s sister a couple of years ago… when Brad proposed, Ciara contacted me straight away and said they wouldn’t have any other celebrant 🥰 they had a beautiful story about how they met and ended up together and I was honored to be the person to write their personal ceremony and share with their guests exactly how things went down! Congratulations Mr and Mrs O’Hare and thanks for choosing me 💕

Congratulations to Sarah and Daryl, who had a super simple elopement type ceremony at the lake yesterday afternoon. They’re 2 months into being new parents so just wanted something easy that involved little fuss… just a beautiful view and their immediate family. Congratulations!
