A 100% physical return-to-work rate across the past 12 months.

We are incredibly proud to share that ELEV8 Consulting has achieved a 100% return-to-work rate for our Comcare physical rehabilitation programs over the past 12 months.

Behind this result are individuals navigating injury, recovery and the challenges of returning to the workplace.

It also reflects the commitment of employers, treating practitioners, rehabilitation case managers and our consultants working together towards clear and sustainable goals.

Our approach is practical, collaborative and tailored to the person. We focus on understanding capacity, addressing barriers early and developing return-to-work plans that are realistic, safe and meaningful.

While every rehabilitation journey is different, this outcome reinforces the value of responsive, person-centred support and strong collaboration. We are proud of our team and, most importantly, proud to have supported people to reconnect with work.

Returning to work is one step. Staying at work is the goal.

A successful return to work is not only measured by the first day back.

For many employees, the real goal is not just returning to work, but staying at work safely and sustainably over time.

This requires more than identifying suitable duties. It involves understanding capacity, monitoring tolerance, reviewing progress, addressing barriers and ensuring the work remains appropriate as recovery continues.

At ELEV8 Consulting, we support return to work planning that considers both the immediate pathway back to work and the longer-term factors that help someone remain at work successfully.

This may include:
• gradual upgrades in hours or duties
• monitoring fatigue, pain or symptom response
• identifying early warning signs
• supporting communication with managers and treating practitioners
• reviewing the fit between capacity and role demands
• adjusting the plan when needed

A strong return to work outcome is one where the person is not only back at work, but supported to remain engaged, productive and safe.

Practical, consistent support can make a significant difference during a workplace injury journey.

We are pleased to share this feedback about Bri Sanson and the support she has provided during a complex rehabilitation pathway.

“Having to navigate one of the most emotive periods of my life, Bri has supported me and continues to support me through the challenges of a workplace injury.

Bri’s support has meant that during more challenging times, I have someone to reach out to and seek assistance.

She has attended the vast majority of my appointments and remains a vital support in my ongoing rehabilitation. Thank you Bri.”

At ELEV8 Consulting, we understand that workplace injury can affect more than capacity for work. It can also involve uncertainty, stress, communication challenges and the need to coordinate multiple stakeholders across the rehabilitation process.

Our consultants aim to provide support that is practical, responsive and grounded in the person’s recovery and return to work goals.

Thank you to T for sharing this feedback, and well done to Bri for the care, consistency and professionalism she continues to bring to this rehabilitation pathway.

Workstation assessments can make a practical difference to comfort, safety and sustainable work participation.

We are pleased to share this feedback about Trudi Crapp and her support during a workplace desk set-up review. “Trudi was very thorough and identified what changes to my workplace desk set-up were required.”

At ELEV8 Consulting, our workstation assessments are designed to look beyond basic equipment placement.

We consider how the person is using their workstation, the demands of their role, posture, comfort, fatigue, work habits and any barriers that may be affecting safe and sustainable work participation.

A workstation assessment may assist with:
• identifying practical equipment or set-up changes
• improving comfort and positioning
• reducing physical strain
• supporting injury prevention
• considering task demands and work habits
• guiding reasonable workplace adjustments
• supporting return to work or staying at work

Thank you to A.G. for sharing this feedback, and well done to Trudi for providing such thorough and practical support.

ELEV8 Consulting is proud to support the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program.

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a simple way for someone to discreetly indicate that they may have a non-visible disability and may need extra time, understanding or support.

For our team, this aligns closely with the way we approach rehabilitation, return to work and workplace support.

Not every disability, injury, health condition or barrier is immediately visible.

Being part of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program reflects our commitment to:
• recognising that disability is not always visible
• creating safer and more respectful conversations
• supporting inclusion in workplaces and communities
• encouraging understanding without requiring people to over-explain
• taking a practical, person-centred approach to rehabilitation

A small symbol can have a meaningful impact. It reminds us that support does not always need to be complicated.

Sometimes it starts with awareness, patience and a willingness to ask what would help.

Psychological return to work is rarely a straight line.

For many employees, capacity can fluctuate depending on symptoms, treatment progress, workplace triggers, confidence, cognitive load, sleep, stress and the level of support around them.

This does not mean a return to work plan is unsuccessful. It means the plan needs to be responsive, realistic and carefully reviewed.

At ELEV8 Consulting, we understand that psychological injury rehabilitation requires thoughtful planning and flexibility.

A staged return to work may need to consider:
• current psychological capacity
• cognitive and emotional demands
• workplace relationships and perceived safety
• confidence and readiness
• suitable duties and role clarity
• treatment recommendations
• review points and early warning signs
• practical workplace adjustments

Progress may involve pauses, adjustments or changes in direction. The key is having a plan that can adapt while still supporting safe and meaningful movement forward.

A successful psychological return to work is not about rushing the process. It is about building a sustainable pathway that supports recovery, confidence and work participation over time.
