An amazing International Women’s Day lunch, with close to one thousand attendees the room was clear on one thing.

More Powerful Together.

Women’s full and equal representation is one of the worlds greatest untapped resources.

Hearing from distinguished guests Dr Martin Parkinson, Secretary Department Prime Minister and Cabinet, Frances Adamson, Secretary DFAT and Mele Maualaivao, UN Women Samoa, it’s also clear that the more we do the more we realise there is to do!

To advance Gender Equality we must invite everyone, from all walks of life, to stand together. Or paddle in our canoe as Mele put it.
To be sustainable gender equality cannot be just about women.

Thank you Office of Women for inviting me, in my capacity as ACT Ministerial Advisory Council on Women Co-Chair.

Teachers are not an easy bunch to teach.

They keep me on my toes and I learn more each day as their high standards continue to move mine forward and upwards. Even when it’s not always feel good feedback!🤔

But there is always room for feedback, growth and improvement. Someone, can’t remember who, once said ‘Feedback is the breakfast of champions.’ 🤜 💥

AND... I’m super excited to be appointed to The Ministerial Advisory Council on Women to progress initiatives and commitments to empower all women. 🙌🏻
