Rock Block is our original patch of Tempranillo, full of the limestone and volcanic rhyolite typical of the vineyard. Perfumed and fresh, it is always the most fragrant parcel.

2024 Little Dam Tempranillo - Single Block New Release

Ready to order online or experience in person at our cellar door.

The Little Dam block of Tempranillo with red soil so rich in iron the pebbles are magnetic. Typically, this block is the most structured of the three, with a ‘dry-packed’ tannin character we associate with the best examples of the variety.

Lovely flavours of sarsaparilla, red cherry soda and juicy plum over a fine-grained talc and chalky tannin. The Dry Spur block of Tempranillo has a north-easterly aspect and thin soil. Consistently our more savoury and structured parcel.

The fun of our vermouth project didn’t just stop at blending three delicious drinks. It also created an opportunity to design a new and distinctive set of labels separate from our established wine brand. In keeping with the nature of the project, we created a competition and put the design brief to the second year design students at the University of Canberra. The project became part of their first semester assessment and a great opportunity for the students to work with a real life business partner. We are absolutely thrilled with the results with a great selection of final designs that made the ultimate decision a difficult choice.

Is it Martini hour yet?! 🍸

Expertly crafted with our Seco Vermouth.

Dry. Delicate. Floral.

Lovely pungent aromatics of candied finger lime, lime jelly, dried mandarin peel and orange pith, with a whisp of fine sea spray. The palate is gloriously dry yet flavorful, with a host of lemon preserve and cumquat marmalade. There is also a gloriously alluring fine and delicate (almost Gin and Tonic like) bitterness on the finish. Calls for a dry martini indeed!
