Victoria's Models was established in Canberra in April 1995. It is managed by our friendly, dynamic team under the direction of Victoria Schnabl with 30 years industry experience. Our model management includes representing talent for fashion parades, television commercials, photographic work, promotions and hosting events. We assist our models through training to develop the skills and positive pro-active attitude required to be successful in this industry. We also offer a range of self improvement courses suitable for males and females of all ages who do not intend to pursue modelling. Vale, Joseph McGrail-Bateup 🤍

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Joseph McGrail-Bateup, a much-loved member of the Victoria’s Models family since 2022.

Joe was truly one of a kind. A man with a big heart, an even bigger voice, and a lifetime of stories, achievements and adventures that will ensure he is never forgotten.

Recently crowned the Guinness World Record holder for the world’s loudest yell, Joe went out on cloud nine, having achieved something extraordinary that perfectly suited a man who was never afraid to make himself heard. He was also a much loved and well known town crier across Canberra and regional NSW, recognised and cherished by so many who had the privilege of knowing him.

Joe was a consistent and enthusiastic actor, with great love for the arts. He always kept in touch with the agency and never failed to bring his infectious energy to our weekly phone calls and agency catch ups. Joe was always full of gratitude.

It seems unfair how life twists and turns. To have someone so full of life leave us so suddenly. But perhaps there is some comfort in knowing Joe left this world having reached another incredible milestone and doing what he did best - making memories and living his best life.

We will miss his voice and his wonderful spirit.

Joe - you certainly made yourself heard and you will never be forgotten. 🤍
