Canberra Solar Shine is a leading solar company at the forefront of the renewable energy industry.
We are urgently seeking a motivated and dynamic HR Recruiter to join our team on a part-time basis. This position requires immediate availability and offers flexible working hours, starting with 15 hours per week spread over 2 shifts. Please note that our main business focuses on solar energy, and the HR Recruiter may also be required to assist with essential administrative tasks.
Position: Part-time HR Recruiter (Immediate Start)
Location: Canberra, ACT
Hours: 15 hours per week (2 shifts per week)
Duration: Permanent, with potential for increased hours in the future
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
Collaborate with hiring managers to promptly identify and fulfill staffing needs.
Develop comprehensive job descriptions and advertisements.
Utilize various recruitment channels, including online platforms, social media, and professional networks, to attract qualified candidates.
Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' skills and qualifications.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
Conduct reference checks and background screenings as necessary.
Prepare employment offers and negotiate terms of employment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records.
HR Administration:
Assist with essential administrative tasks related to HR functions.
Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
Update HR databases and systems with employee information.
Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
Assist with employee onboarding and orientation.
Help organize and coordinate employee events and initiatives.
General Administrative Tasks:
Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.
Assist with organizing and maintaining documentation and files.
Help with scheduling, data entry, and other administrative duties.
Requirements:
Immediate availability to start.
Proven experience as an HR recruiter or in a similar role.
Sound knowledge of recruitment practices and techniques.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry (preferred but not required).
