A world class city needs a world-class stadium and we are pleased to support Canberra Airport's proposal to build a new stadium next to Commonwealth Park! This awesome location will allow integration with the new Convention Centre, the light rail network, and all the amenities of the city. We've had discussions about a new stadium for a long time, but what changes the game now is the potential availability of a great site right next to Commonwealth Park.

It's not just about footy - It will be great for business, great for the economy, and great for anyone who wants a world class sporting, concert or entertainment experience.

Let's get Canberra a stadium befitting the national capital!
