On Friday as part of our VET in Schools Cert II in supply chain operations with Mt. Maria from Petrie, we took them on a site tour of the Metcash DC which in total is 90,000sqm and took us a while to walk around! Was great to be able to show the kids what we have been learning all year so far in a real life situation.

Sometimes the things we do mean more than the piece of paper the trainee receives at the end of their journey. I met Peter in November, 2024 and yesterday I had the pleasure of presenting him with his Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations which also coincided with his celebration for working at Endeavour Foundation for 45 years. To think I was 6 when he started working there and now I get to present him with a qualification is insane! Congratulations Peter you should be proud of your achievement.
