⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From tired garden to backyard oasis — this is exactly why we do what we do! 💚

Cathy's review genuinely made our whole team's day. When a client tells you they now love spending time in their garden every single day, that's not just a job well done — that's a life genuinely improved.

🥹🌿Nigel and the team went in, cleared away the old and overgrown, created beautiful defined borders, and introduced a fresh palette of colourful new plants — completely transforming Cathy's back garden into the outdoor retreat it always had the potential to be.

And the best part? Cathy is already looking forward to having us back to renovate her front garden too!

🏡✨That kind of trust means everything to us. At Chandler Park Landscaping, we don't just landscape gardens — we create spaces people genuinely fall in love with. 🌸

Is your garden in need of a fresh start? Whether it's a full renovation, a tidy-up, or something in between — we'd love to have a chat. Send us a message today! 📩💚

🏊 This is what a tropical pool paradise looks like — and we built it! 😍

We are absolutely thrilled with how this pool landscaping transformation came together for our client. From the moment you step into this backyard, you feel like you've been transported somewhere truly special. 🌴✨

Here's everything we brought to life around this stunning pool:
🌿 Cycad (Encephalartos/Cycas species) — planted in a statement charcoal drum pot as the centrepiece, this prehistoric beauty adds incredible architectural drama and will only get more impressive with age
🔴 Cordyline 'Rubra' & Ti Plants — bursting with fiery reds, deep purples, and hot pinks, these stunning plants create bold tropical colour that pops against the blue of the pool year-round
🌺 Giant Bromeliads — dramatic rosette-forming specimens that thrive in Brisbane's subtropical climate with virtually zero fuss
🌾 Dracaena & Ornamental Grasses — adding softness, texture, and movement to balance the bolder planting
🪨 Natural Boulder & Gravel Placement — chunky sandstone boulders and mixed gravel ground cover create that resort-style feel while keeping maintenance beautifully low
⬜ Angled Stepping Stone Pavers — laid at a stylish diagonal angle through the gravel, guiding you right to the pool's edge
🌴 Palms & Tropical Canopy — layering height and lushness to create that complete, wraparound jungle vibe

The result? A backyard that looks like a 5-star tropical resort — without the airfare! 🏖️
This is exactly the kind of transformation we LOVE doing. If your pool area is looking tired and bare, we'd love to bring it to life. Send us a message today and let's get started! 💚

🧄 Garden Tip Tuesday!

If you only do ONE thing in your garden this June — plant garlic. Here's why it's our top pick:

✅ June is the ideal planting window for garlic in SEQ
✅ Takes up almost no space — tuck it between other crops
✅ Naturally deters aphids and pests (brilliant companion plant!)
✅ Zero fuss — plant it, water it, mostly forget it
✅ Harvest in about 6 months — just in time for Christmas 🎄🧄

How to plant:
→ Break a bulb into cloves
→ Plant pointy-side UP, about 5cm deep
→ Space around 10–15cm apart
→ Water in well and mulch generously

Best in raised beds or well-drained garden soil. Not a fan of waterlogged or clay-heavy spots — so if that's what you're working with, check out Nigel's soil prep tips in this month's blog. 🌿

🪨 When every element tells a story...

This backyard transformation for one of our clients is one of those projects that just came together beautifully — and we couldn't be prouder of the result! 😍

Here's what we incorporated into this stunning low-maintenance garden design:🌺 Giant Bromeliad — a dramatic focal point that brings bold tropical colour and texture without demanding constant attention
🌾 Ornamental Grass — adding softness, movement, and a natural, flowing contrast to the harder elements
🪨 Natural Sandstone Rock Edging — hand-placed fieldstone rocks creating a curved garden bed border that feels organic and timeless
⬜ Stepping Stone Paver Landing — a practical, clean focal point that anchors the space and invites you in
🟫 Corten Steel Laser-Cut Screen — the showstopper! This stunning rust-finish decorative panel adds privacy, art, and industrial warmth all at once
🌑 Black Feature Pot — a sleek, modern accent that grounds the design beautifully
🪵 Bark Mulch & Gravel Ground Cover — keeping maintenance low and moisture in, while tying all the textures together

The combination of natural stone, tropical planting, and that gorgeous Corten steel screen creates a space that feels both wild and considered — exactly the kind of outdoor retreat that makes you want to spend more time outside. 🏡

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This one made our whole team smile!

We always say that great landscaping starts with great communication — and it means the world when our clients notice that too. 💚

Amanda recently shared this beautiful review about working with Nigel, and honestly, it captures exactly what Chandler Park Landscaping is all about. Turning up when we say we will, listening carefully to what you actually want, and bringing ideas to the table that make your vision even better.

In an industry where follow-through isn't always a given, we're proud to be the team that does exactly what we say we're going to do — every single time. 🙌

If you've been thinking about transforming your outdoor space, we'd love to have a chat. Drop us a message or give us a call — Nigel will definitely pick up! 😄📞
Thank you so much, Amanda — we loved working with you too! 🌱
