Cardiff Return and Earn will be closed Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

We will be open as usual on Tuesday, 7 April 2026 for you to return all your holiday cans and bottles.

Meet Frank.
He has been coming to our Cardiff depot since it opened back in 2018.

He says he likes the set-up and that nothing is ever a problem for our helpful staff.

Why not come and try our Return and Earn depot yourself?

Its drive in, fully automated, no need to pre-sort. Just bring your containers in whatever you want and our staff will process them, then pay the full value of the deposits via EFTPOS.

Looking for a new volunteer challenge for 2025?

Vinnies needs volunteers to help in our Cardiff Return and Earn depot, could this be you?

By volunteering, you’ll be joining a friendly team, learn new skills, work in a positive environment dealing direct with the public, and be helping to make a difference to those in the community who need it most.

We have a range of roles within our depots, including customer services, forklift drivers, pick-up and delivery drivers, store person and general duties.

Our 10 drive-in automated depots currently process about 3 million containers and payout around $300,000 to the public every week.
