Announcing our September 2026 Young Scientist Encouragement Award winners!

At ATA Scientific, we support the next generation of scientists and the discoveries that will shape our future.

Congratulations to our three award recipients:

🔬 Ben Krinkel – University of Auckland, researching cancer metabolism and potential drug targets.

🧠 Philip Chalk – University of Queensland, investigating how attention and expectation influence the brain’s processing of emotional stimuli.

🧪 Swan Htet – Monash University, developing AI-supported simulations to improve the design and efficiency of plant-based food manufacturing.

Each winner will use their award to support conference attendance and share their research with the wider scientific community.

Thank you to everyone who entered and shared their perspectives on how technology, automation and AI will shape the future of science. We’re delighted to play a part in encouraging early-career researchers and their contributions to scientific discovery.

👏 Join us in congratulating Ben, Philip and Swan!

Our Mastersizer 3000+ has had a makeover, inspired by light diffraction, particles and the science behind particle sizing.

But there’s a small surprise hidden in the design… 👀

Can you find it?

See the new skin in person at the AusIMM Critical Minerals Conference in Brisbane, 21–23 September 2026, at the Malvern Panalytical booth (booth number 25).

Come and take a closer look and take a selfie.
Tell us if you can spot the surprise in the comments!

Ready to move beyond microfluidics?

You’ve proven your nanoparticle formulation works. Now challenge us to scale it.

Micropore’s AXF™ technology offers more.

Pathfinder — up to 250 mL
Horizon Mini — up to 20 L/hour
Same technology. Same formulation. Scalable by design.

And importantly, no need to scale your microfluidic chip costs as you scale your formulation.

TAKE THE AXF CHALLENGE
https://youtu.be/nQJziXRaCBY?si=5Y1tE9XOE7E_Cxdo

Bring your own formulation. Test it on the Pathfinder and see the results for yourself.

Real formulation. Real data. Real scale-up potential.
