We are proud to announce that Da Guido La Pasta has been given the Ospitalità Italiana nel Mondo accreditation!

Da Guido is small Italian restaurant in Carlton where the pasta is handmade, the room is warm, and hospitality still feels personal. A menu built for a proper dinner. Fresh pasta, antipasti, secondi, dolci and a wine list chosen to sit alongside all of it. Some dishes stay. Others appear when the produce feels right.

This recognition, received from the Italian Chamber of Commerce (VIC & TAS) in collaboration with Unioncamere and ISNART – the National Institute of Tourism Research, certifies that Da Guido La Pasta is an authentic Italian restaurant.

After a fantastic first event, we are delighted to continue this journey celebrating authentic Italian hospitality across Melbourne’s certified Italian venues — this time at Southbank

Expect an evening inspired by the atmosphere of Italy itself: authentic flavours, premium Italian wines, meaningful connections and the warm hospitality that makes Italian dining culture so unique.

For this special edition, guests will enjoy a curated selection of signature Italian bites showcasing regional flavours and premium Italian ingredient. The evening will also feature wines by including a special selection from Collefrisio from Abruzzo.

🇮🇹🇦🇺 A week of learning, discovery and connection

We were delighted to welcome to Melbourne a delegation from Regione Puglia together with students, teachers and the school principal from the Istituto Professionale “Domenico Modugno” di Polignano a Mare, for an immersive international experience.

Throughout the week, the delegation explored Melbourne’s vibrant hospitality, food and wine ecosystem — from academic engagement at William Angliss Institute to industry visits and hands-on experiences across the sector ✨

From discovering the city’s multicultural food landscape to engaging with leading institutions and businesses, this journey brought together education, industry and culture in a truly meaningful way.

This initiative represents an important step in strengthening international collaboration and supporting the next generation of hospitality professionals.
