Have you ever looked at a light pole as an engineering product?
Most people focus on the fixture. The pole does a lot of the hard work.
It sets the mounting height. It supports the equipment. It helps control how light reaches the ground. It also needs to handle wind, weather, and site conditions without becoming a safety issue.
For example, a car park may need a different pole setup than a public road, pathway, or commercial site. Height, material, base design, and fixture weight all affect the final result.
Choose the wrong pole, and you can end up with poor light coverage, added maintenance, or a site that needs corrections later.
Before your next lighting project, ask one practical question:
Is the pole designed for the fixture, the site, and the environment?
