XLR8®Bio is honestly the stuff that makes our garden glow. 🌱💚

I recently asked one of our best customers how he’d describe XLR8®Bio to someone who doesn’t know much about soil health.

His response?

“I don’t know... bloody good stuff!” 😂

And you know what? Sometimes that’s probably the best explanation.

Of course, there’s a whole lot of science behind what we do, but at the end of the day, we’re simply trying to help people grow healthier plants by building healthier soils.

Whether that’s a few pots on the verandah, a backyard veggie patch or hundreds of hectares of crops.

Healthy plants start with healthy soil.

And apparently, a little bloody good stuff helps too! 🌱

CASH. 💵

In the wake of a number of changes affecting Australian businesses lately, we've decided to personally do what we can to make a difference.

Between wage increases, proposed changes to working holiday visas, fuel prices and growing pressure around credit card surcharges, businesses, particularly regional businesses, are copping hit after hit.

Now, there's not a lot we can do about many of these things individually. But one simple change we can make is to start using cash again.

Sure, there are plenty of things we'll still need our cards for, and cash isn't necessarily the answer for every business. But where it helps, why not?

So next time you grab a coffee, head out for dinner, visit the markets or shop at your local store, consider paying with cash. Those little choices can make a difference.

☀️ The seasons are changing and, well, apparently my frangipani has decided it's time 🌸

First flower out, and a whole heap more on the way 💚

We spend a lot of time at Green Food talking about farms, tonnes of HumiSoil and healthy soil systems at scale — but honestly, the reality is that the very same principle applies whether you're growing 200 hectares of bananas or simply pretty flowers at home.

Healthy plants start with healthy soil.

This little frange was gifted to me recently and I was thrilled. I've loved frangipanis since before they were cool - then bogan - and now apparently old-school Queensland 😂 They make me happy in so many ways.

So when I was gifted this stem, I made sure to pot it up in the best soil I could give it.

And this is the result 🌸

So what is Freshcare and what does it mean for you?

For growers, it means greater confidence when choosing biological soil nutrition. As a Freshcare Recognised Supplier, we can provide the supporting documentation growers need as part of their quality assurance systems, helping make supplier verification simpler.

For consumers, it's another step towards ensuring the food reaching Australian tables is produced within robust quality assurance frameworks.
