My last few days have been crazy busy!
I've been preparing for two Take15 workshops, searching for venues for a client's planning day, sessions with my business coaching clients, and handling my daily tasks. My mind's been like a browser with 100 tabs open! π
It's been non-stop.
And yet ... these last few days, Take15 has been a lifesaver. I can't imagine feeling as calm as I do without it. Take15 has been a blessing.
Here's my morning process with Take15.
Every morning before I start work, I do my 15-minute Take15 practice (see below what a typical day has looked like recently). Yes, all of that is in my head at one time!
After completing Steps 2 and 3, I do a massive brain dump, a mind map of everything that's screaming in my head that needs attention. Everything goes on paper - work stuff, emails, personal errands, even what's for dinner (because, let's be honest, ignoring the 'life stuff' only comes back to bite you later! π)
Then I do something that totally changes the game for me: I look at my actual available time for the day. Meetings? Travel time? That all gets subtracted first.
What's left is my REAL working time.
From there, I pick what needs to happen on that day and decide what can wait. In other words, I force myself to choose. Every day, I select my tasks based on what I can do in my available time, rather than what I pretend I can do.
No more impossible to-do lists!
The relief of sitting down, ready to work through my action steps, is so satisfying. It's not about trying to squeeze in everything under the sun - it's about being realistic and actually getting stuff done. I'm not working with a to-do list of tasks I know I'll never get to. This is different. I've chosen what I can do within the time I have available, and I know I will do it. It's magic. β¨
That's how I approach my daily tasks and it's been life-changing. I want you to experience this, too. When you stop overwhelming yourself with endless to-dos and start working with a system that actually fits your life, everything shifts. It's not just about getting more done β it's about feeling in control and ending each day knowing you've made real progress.
Don't miss out on the next Take15.
