If anticipation burned calories, Ollie would’ve earned three bully sticks by now 🤤😂

The drool was temporary…
The excitement was very, VERY real
Thanks Natural Farm Australia for the rain 🌧️

When Ollie was diagnosed with arthritis, I found myself constantly watching him. Wondering if he was comfortable. Wondering if today’s walk was too much. Wondering if he was hiding pain.

Since adding Rose-Hip Vital to his daily routine, I’ve personally noticed positive changes in how confidently he moves, and those worries don’t occupy my mind the way they once did.

Now, every jump into the car, every game we play, every set of stairs… they remind me to appreciate the ordinary.

Because one day, the ordinary becomes the thing you miss most.

If you’ve ever loved an ageing dog, you’ll know exactly what I mean🥹🧡

I bought a mini blower for DIY projects…

The dogs had other ideas 😅

So far it’s been used for:
🐾 blasting dog hair from under the couch
🐾 cleaning enrichment toys
🐾 drying wet rain jackets
🐾 rescuing lost tennis balls
🐾 cooling homemade biscuits for impatient taste testers

What’s the most random thing you’ve used a gadget for?

Starts talking about Ollie. Moves on to scratches outside. Then has zoomies outside. Can’t stay on topic… sounds like her mum 😆

I started the afternoon trying to work in the garden.

Maddie started the afternoon with a very different agenda 🎾

When fetch wasn’t enough, I scattered some RawMix33 through the grass and let them put their noses to work.

10/10 enrichment.
10/10 sniffing.
10/10 allowed me to finish what I was doing 😅

This is why nothing gets done 🥲
Would you finish the shelf or keep throwing the ball? 👀

She built the sentence.

Ollie heard one word and ran with it 😆
——————————————————
People expect instant sentences, but this is actually how learning and communication develops; piecing thoughts together over time.

This took 4:30 mins but she got there.
Stay patient, their processing time is different from ours 🩵

I walked one dog…
got distracted…
and accidentally skipped the other.

She didn’t let that slide 😅

The part I didn’t catch? She’d already pressed “now” before this.

Safe to say… she remembers the routine.

Sometimes you don’t realise how much you need a reset until you take one 🤍

The last couple of months looked like slow mornings, a lot of time outside, celebrating the little things, and just being present with these two.

No big changes. Just… coming back to what matters 🐾

She asked.
She waited.
She tried another word.

And when I said “wait,” she listened.

Buttons don’t create demand; they reveal thought 🩵
At what point would you have caved? 👀
