💙 Supporting Every Voice at Charleville State School 💙

We're excited to introduce our new AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) boards in our school playground!

AAC provides a way for people to communicate using pictures, symbols, words or other methods when speaking is difficult or not possible. These communication boards help children express their thoughts, needs, ideas and feelings, support language development, encourage social interaction, and create a more inclusive environment where every child has a voice.

This project has been a true passion project for Miss Katie and Mrs Kruger, who have been working towards bringing AAC into our school playground to ensure communication is accessible for all students. Seeing this vision come to life is something we're incredibly proud of, and we know it will make a lasting difference to our school community.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Warrego Signs for their incredibly generous donation of printing and installing the communication board. Your kindness and support have made this project possible, and the positive impact of your generosity will be felt by students, staff and families across Charleville State School for years to come.
