We’re looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our team. Previous administration experience is essential. This is a Permanent, Full-Time position based at our Charters Towers office.

About the Role
You’ll provide essential administrative support to our Management Team and assist with:
✅ Office co-ordination and general administration
✅ Document preparation and records management
✅ Stakeholder and supplier communication
✅ Meeting and travel coordination
✅ Reporting, minute taking and follow-up actions

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
✅ Has excellent communication and organisational skills
✅ Has excellent customer service
✅ Has a strong work ethic and a positive, enthusiastic attitude
✅ Is confident using Microsoft Office
✅ Has experience with data entry & maintaining accurate records
✅ Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work
✅ Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
✅ Is self-motivated
✅ Works well independently and as part of a team
✅ Is professional, reliable and willing to take initiative
✅ Holds a Certificate III in Business (preferred, but not essential)

Congratulations to our Myuma students on successfully completing the AHC10124 Certificate I in Conservation and Ecosystem Management!

Throughout the course, students gained practical skills and industry knowledge that provided a strong foundation for careers in conservation, land management, and environmental care. They developed skills in working safely in outdoor environments, caring for natural areas, identifying plants, using tools and equipment, supporting conservation activities, and applying environmentally sustainable work practices.

By completing this qualification, our students have taken an important step towards future employment and further training within the conservation and natural resource management industries. Their dedication, teamwork, and willingness to learn have been outstanding throughout the course.

📍 Student Spotlight – Gordonvale 🌿🌱

Our Gordonvale students are currently completing the AHC21024 Certificate II in Conservation and Ecosystem Management, where they are developing valuable knowledge and practical skills to help protect and restore Australia's natural environments.

Throughout the course, students are learning to identify native plants and ecosystems, carry out land management activities, control weeds and pests, apply environmentally sustainable work practices, and contribute to conservation and rehabilitation projects. They are also building a strong understanding of workplace health and safety while working in outdoor environments.

As they continue their training, these skills are preparing them for future opportunities in conservation, parks and wildlife, land management, environmental restoration, and other natural resource management roles.
