As the NDIS sector continues to evolve, ensuring your Supported Independent Living (SIL) workforce is equipped with the knowledge and skills to meet the NDIS Practice Standards has never been more important.
With the introduction of mandatory registration requirements for SIL providers, organisations have an increased responsibility to ensure staff receive appropriate training that supports safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.
To support providers, the Day Support team have developed a suite of practical, self-paced SIL online learning modules designed to align with the NDIS Practice Standards and the expectations of registered SIL providers. The training provides staff with the foundational knowledge required to work confidently, safely, and consistently within a Supported Independent Living environment.
The SIL training suite includes:
-Introduction to Supported Independent Living (SIL)
-Supported Decision-Making in SIL
-Active Support in SIL
-Person-Centred Practice in SIL
-Trauma-Informed Practice in SIL
-Safeguarding and Professional Boundaries in SIL
-Medication Management
-Restrictive Practice
-Shared Living, House Culture and Conflict Resolution
All completed training modules provide learners with a Certificate of Completion, providing evidence of participation and successful completion of the online learning requirements.
To support SIL providers during this period of change, the Day Support team are offering an introductory launch price from $179 per learner for their SIL Training Suite. This includes access to all nine online SIL modules and a Certificate of Completion upon successful completion. Volume pricing is available for organisations enrolling multiple staff members.
If you would like to trial the training to ensure it is the right fit for your organisation, or if you would like to discuss enrolment options for your team, please contact:
