Young Guns Of Wine Australia's Best Tempranillo

Really chuffed to be included in the Top Tempranillo Wines with our latest release.

Shut The Gate 2024 For Love Tempranillo Hilltops

Spain chose this wine for her top six wines from the tasting, noting “the nose immediately hits you with the smell of fresh potting soil and coconut fibre, in all the best ways possible! Hints of rose petals and pink lavender just really build on the earthy aromatics that one straight away noticeable. There’s also a hint of ripe blueberry and freshly grated cinnamon on the nose as well that hints that the refresher fruit on the palate. An earthy, savoury drive on the palate with hints of black sesame, toasted star anise and walnut creating the structure and drive in the glass, and swells of blood orange and red plum fleshing everything out. An easy sipper in my opinion, although heaps of discover and unravel if you want, but whack some pork in front of this bad boy, or even something more gamey like kangaroo or venison, and you are in for an absolute treat.”
