its often been said that it is easier to get into the Australian cricket team than to get out of it! Now is the time to stop living in the past and have a healthy dash of reality - past 'stars' are exactly that - past it! Move on .... succession planning? What's that? says Cricket Australia! You cannot live on past glories when some of these players are well and truly found out in Perth - move on, bite the bullet and put some young blood in the team that at least will play a stroke! Laubasche is a joke - two failures to go with a host of recent ones - surely we have young batters better than him waiting for their chance? Smith will have to get a double ton to be safe as well! The cricket team is in tatters - don't wait any longer - FLICK the non performers! Move on Cricket Australia! Show some *$% #* for a change!

Really? Do we have to know the details of a private party of Giants that did not cause the earth to tilt - distasteful, inappropriate etc but does the AFL have to act the heavy handed big brother? Where does it end - read ‘The boys club’ by Michael Warner to see the holier than thou AFL HQ and the hypocrisy that brings! Worry about the grass roots game before grandstanding about a private party!

Congratulations to Chris Fagan on his premiership success but why do the pundits have to focus on his age - why not his connection to players, the building of trust, his calm nature etc? Another 3xample of ageism in our society - it needs to stop!
