Since 1959 Lantrak’s core business has been material management, contributing to many significant projects right across the eastern seaboard, and developing relationships which are the cornerstone of our business today. We have built our experience on landmark projects taking in the snowy mountains hydro scheme, home bush bay Olympic stadium, Melbourne international airport and Brisbane tunnel net

work. Our portfolio includes, Ipswich motorway, The New royal Children’s Hospital, Wonthaggi Desalination Plant, and Peninsula Link. With this strong backing of Lantrak Resource Management, and it’s over 55 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, Lantrak Electrical Services was launched in 2015. Our new division is led by qualified electricians and experienced estimators with over 20 years’ experience over a wide variety of electrical contracting works.

Throwback to when Lantrak Electrical was invited by Empowered Women In Trades to attend the Korowa Anglican Girls’ School!

A few of our women joined the event, taught students how to wire a GPO, and educate them on the opportunity of women in the electrical trade.

At the end of the session, the students wrote their feedback and reading some of their responses made the day worth it!

Meet Shauna, one of the newest faces at Lantrak ⚡👋

As a brand new first-year apprentice, Shauna is right at the beginning of her journey in the electrical industry. One of the things that drew her to Lantrak was our commitment to achieving 50/50 gender representation by 2030.

For us, the 50/50 initiative is about more than a number. It’s about creating an industry where more women can see a future for themselves, feel supported stepping into the trade and have the opportunity to build a long-term career.

Building on what’s already there ⚡

We’re on site at Lollypop for Stage 2, where new buildings are underway as part of the school’s expansion.

Unlike starting a project from the ground up, this one comes with an added challenge. Our team is working with and building upon existing electrical infrastructure completed during the school’s original construction.

That means understanding what’s already in place, coordinating new with existing, and making sure everything comes together seamlessly as the school continues to grow.

Almost at the finish line ⚡👏

We caught up with one of our fourth-year apprentices as they enter an exciting final chapter of their apprenticeship.

After four years of learning, growing and gaining hands-on experience across Lantrak projects, it’s great to hear them reflect on the journey and the pride they have in being part of the team.

We’re proud to play a part in developing the next generation of electricians and even prouder to watch our apprentices grow into skilled tradespeople.

Good luck with the exams — A-Grade is just around the corner! ⚡
