Since 1959 Lantrak’s core business has been material management, contributing to many significant projects right across the eastern seaboard, and developing relationships which are the cornerstone of our business today. We have built our experience on landmark projects taking in the snowy mountains hydro scheme, home bush bay Olympic stadium, Melbourne international airport and Brisbane tunnel net

work. Our portfolio includes, Ipswich motorway, The New royal Children’s Hospital, Wonthaggi Desalination Plant, and Peninsula Link. With this strong backing of Lantrak Resource Management, and it’s over 55 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, Lantrak Electrical Services was launched in 2015. Our new division is led by qualified electricians and experienced estimators with over 20 years’ experience over a wide variety of electrical contracting works.

Cobblebank Secondary is now complete, and seeing these spaces come to life never gets old! ⚡️

This project is one that reminds us of why we do what we do! Modern, functional, and built to support generations to come. It’s rewarding to step back and appreciate the finished project and even more rewarding knowing our team played a part in creating a space where students will learn, grow and thrive.

21.33% and Climbing – Progress with Purpose ⚡

Fourteen months ago, Lantrak Electrical launched our 50/50 by 2030 Initiative with a clear goal: creating a more inclusive workforce and increasing female representation across our business.

Today, we're proud to share that we've reached 21.33% female representation, achieving over 42% of our 2030 target in just 14 months.

While the numbers are encouraging, what we're most proud of is the incredible group of women who have chosen to build their careers with Lantrak Electrical. Their talent, determination, fresh perspectives, and commitment to the trade are helping shape not only our business but the future of our industry.

Many of these young women are entering a field where female representation has traditionally been low, and they're helping drive meaningful change by showing future generations that there is a place for everyone in the electrical and construction industries.

This progress is a reflection of the culture we're building together, one that values opportunity, diversity, and the contributions of every team member.

A sincere thank you to the women of Lantrak Electrical and to our entire team for embracing this journey and helping create a more inclusive future for our industry.

We're proud of how far we've come, but we're even more excited about what lies ahead.

LANTRAK THROUGH THE YEARS // MCKINNON SECONDARY COLLEGE – PISTA BINNON SENIOR CENTRE

Completed in 2018, the McKinnon Secondary College – Pista Binnon Senior Centre remains one of the standout education projects delivered by Lantrak Electrical, showcasing our capability in complex live-school environments and large-scale educational facilities.

Located at the heart of the McKinnon Secondary College campus, the 3,200m², three-storey Senior Centre was developed to support the school’s growing population of more than 2,000 students and 300 staff. The project involved the demolition of two outdated buildings and the construction of a modern learning facility designed to accommodate both current and future educational needs.

The new Senior Centre introduced a wide range of state-of-the-art spaces, including science laboratories, dedicated Year 11 and Year 12 study areas, informal learning concourses, administration facilities, wellbeing and meditation spaces, change room amenities, and 20 new classrooms.

Designed with durability and longevity in mind, the building features a robust material palette suited to the demands of a busy secondary school environment, while creating contemporary and engaging spaces for students and staff alike.

Projects such as McKinnon Secondary College continue to reflect Lantrak Electrical’s long-standing contribution to Victoria’s education sector and our commitment to delivering high-quality electrical solutions across significant community infrastructure projects.
