Ever since we got our dog, Otto, farm stays have become one of our family's favourite ways to spend time together.

This King's Birthday long weekend, we escaped to a farmhouse in West Creek. No rush to be anywhere, no schedules — just long walks, a crackling fire, and a sky full of stars.

What I love most about these trips is their simplicity. Life slows down. Phones get forgotten. A walk becomes the main event of the day, and somehow that's enough.

Three nights later, I feel rested, grounded and genuinely rejuvenated. Sometimes the things we need most are also the simplest.
