One of eccoConsultants Senior Advisors - Garreth Bohanes, had the opportunity this morning to present to over 50 small business owners on ways they can address the #1* identified constraint for small & medium sized businesses in Australia - INSUFFCIENT TIME.
One of the key traps here for business owners is they spend too much time doing 'stuff' and making most of the decisions. Which means they are not spending more time on the higher impact and income producing activities that will drive their business. Additionally they could be getting caught in the trap of doing TENSION relieving instead of GOAL achieving activities.
By doing some analysis of how owners and staff are spending their time it's possible to make key decisions on how to improve efficiencies, effectiveness and create a more productive and profitable business.
