It was a great pleasure to have the young community visit the depot Thursday. We really enjoyed showing them how recycling works and what we do here. Thank you for bringing them along — it’s always good to see the next generation learning about recycling in action.

🚛♻️ Eastern Eyre Recycling – New Service Trial! ♻️🚛

We’re excited to announce that EER is expanding our services with a pickup trial for your containers! 🙌

This trial is aimed at elderly customers and those who can’t easily bring their containers to the depot.

Here’s how it will work (for the trial):
1️⃣ We’ll dedicate a day (once we have enough pickups booked).
2️⃣ We come to your place and collect your containers.
3️⃣ We take them back to our depot and count them.
4️⃣ Once counted, we’ll text you the total.
5️⃣ You can either:

Come and collect your cash 💵, or

Choose EFT payment direct to your bank 💳.

♻️ Extra help for all customers:
If you need bales for your plastic and cans or crates for your refundable glass, we can supply them – just give us a call.

This is a trial service – if it works well and there’s enough interest, we’ll look at making it a regular part of Eastern Eyre Recycling.

👉 To book a pickup, request bales/crates, or find out more, contact Terry:

🌏 Cows for Cambodia – Donation Update 🐄

Thanks to your incredible support, our 2025 donations now total:

💚 $727.70 💚

Every can, bottle and lid you donate helps create lasting change for families in rural Cambodia.

👉 Did you know?
1️⃣ Each cow is loaned to a poor family. When the cow calves, the first calf goes back into the program and the family keeps the cow – doubling their annual income when they sell future calves.
2️⃣ Donations also fund animal health programs, providing vaccinations and vet care so families can keep their cattle healthy.

♻️ Reminder: If a lid is left on the container, your 10¢ refund goes straight into the donation tally. Removing lids means you keep your refund – leaving them on means you’re automatically donating.

Thank you for helping us support this life-changing program. Together, we’re making a difference one container at a time. 🌱

Every bottle and can you donate helps the school directly – and it all adds up!

👉 Reminder: If a lid is left on your container, the 10¢ refund from that lid automatically goes to the donation tally. Easy way to give a little extra without any effort!
