This February 2026 marks a major milestone for Base Course Management Pty Ltd — 30 years leading the profiling industry.

We’re growing — and we’re looking for an experienced Low Loader / Float Driver to join our team.

In this key position, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting our fleet of modern road profilers between job sites throughout Greater Brisbane and SE Queensland. You’ll play a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly and ensuring our crews have the equipment they need, when they need it.

Mainly local work, based out of Clontarf, north of Brisbane returning to depot after each shift.

Modern well maintained Prime Mover and Drake Quad Axle Trailer.

BCM will provide training on loading and unloading machinery.

To Be Successful You Will Require:

Minimum current HC Driver’s License and a good driving record

Industry (White Card) Construction Card

Commitment to Safety

A positive, safe attitude

To comply with fatigue management, road rules and regulations

A reasonable knowledge of the Greater Brisbane Metro road network

The preferred applicants will have experience in

Transporting heavy equipment with Quad Axle Floats

Performing pre-start truck checks and complete all associated paperwork.

The successful applicant must be available to attend a Pre employment medical, including a drug screen.

Today, after four weeks of intensive work, we sent W211 back into service following a major overhaul. Our team refurbished the milling drum, repaired extensive rust, rebuilt numerous components and topped it all off with a fresh wrap to restore the machine to near-new condition. All work was completed in-house by skilled staff in our fully equipped workshop. Well done team.

Today in sunny Albany Creek we are supplying a full 10 man crew for the milling and clean up work for Suncoast Asphalt. Traffic calming and 15 manholes to mill around has its challenges, but not when you have the best in the business to do it for you. Great job boys.

While the rest of us in South East Qld hold our breath, prepare and wait for Cyclone Alfred to cross the coast, Kirk and our Buggy continue to live the dream in sunny Far North Qld.

Office & Operations Closure Notice

Due to Tropical Cyclone Alfred, Base Course Management Queensland will be closing the Clontarf office and SEQLD milling operations from Close of Business 5th March to allow all staff time to prepare and stay safe until the cyclone threat passes.

Phones will be monitored for urgent assistance during this period. Once the threat passes staff will be available to assist in clean up if required until a full work program recommences.

Please take all necessary precautions and stay safe.
