This recognition belongs to our entire team, whose commitment to customer service, safety and cleanliness helps make a difference in our community every day.

Our Clontarf site was the first Express Recycling depot, and to be recognised in the community where our journey began makes this award even more special.

Sometimes it’s easy to forget how powerful 10 cents can become.

Last Saturday, we had the privilege of attending the Operation Protect Luncheon with , one of the incredible charities we proudly support through Express Recycling Queensland.

Thanks to funds raised through container recycling, Hearts of Purple has purchased land and built two homes to help support women and families impacted by domestic violence.

To see eligible containers turned into something this meaningful is incredibly powerful and a reminder that recycling can create real change within our communities.

A huge congratulations to the Hearts of Purple team on the impact you continue to make. We’re proud to support the journey. 💜♻️

Turning trash into trees 🌱

At , simple choices (like using the right bin!) make a massive impact. Since 2022, those small actions have added up to more than $34,000 raised through 10-cent refunds.

Those funds are being reinvested into projects that protect and regenerate the land - including conservation work, nursery operations, and volunteer-led initiatives like Treehuggers and Conservatree.

This year alone, festivalgoers helped save a record 120,000 containers from landfill, smashing last year’s 90,000. Here’s to 2027! 👀
