Our teams are getting ready to participate in the 2026 MACA Cancer 200 Ride for the Perkins👍

For 15 years, the MACA Cancer 200 ride has brought together riders, supporters and researchers with one goal, to make cancer non-lethal.

Our riders in this year's event include team members from Otraco and Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia - Gavin Abbott, David Gunther, Andrew Douglas, Andrew Harrison, Lionel Lim and Barry Henderson.

We'll be cheering them on over the weekend of Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October as they ride the 200km journey raising critical funds for cancer research.

All funds raised stay in Western Australia helping cancer researchers find kinder treatments and better health outcomes for our loved ones.

We are pleased to announce the award of a new 5-year contract with BHP!

This marks a significant milestone in our partnership that began when Otraco was established in 1972 at BHP's Mt Whaleback mining operation in Western Australia.

For more than five decades, our teams have delivered industry-leading tyre management solutions - supporting safe, reliable and efficient mining operations to help BHP move more with less.

General Manager David Gunther said the contract award is a reflection of the commitment, expertise and hard work of our teams on site every day.

"Our dedication to safety, service and operational excellence continues to strengthen our relationship with BHP. As we celebrate this achievement, we thank our teams for their contribution and BHP for their continued trust and partnership. We look forward to building on our shared success over the next five years."

Operations Manager Victor Duong said the contract award reflects the effort and consistency shown by our people supporting BHP.

We are pleased to announce the award of a three-year contract with Glencore Australia at the McArthur River Mine in the Northern Territory.

Announcing the appointment, General Manager David Gunther said that the partnership marks an exciting opportunity to deliver Otraco's industry leading tyre management solutions in a complex remote location in the Northern Territory.

"Glencore’s McArthur River Mine represents Otraco’s first operational presence in the Northern Territory. We're excited to bring our tyre management expertise and data-driven strategies to maximise fleet availability and support production outcomes for Glencore. Our teams are looking forward to building a strong working relationship onsite and delivering consistent value over the life of the contract." David Gunther.
