We’re proud to share that our Director, Mrs Hong Knowling has been nominated for the 2026 Women in Planning Leadership Award (Victoria) by the Planning Institute of Australia. This recognition reflects PPC Urban’s growing role as an industry leader and trusted advisor supporting clients to deliver successful development outcomes.
The award will be announced tomorrow at the PIA Victoria International Women’s Day Breakfast on 12 March., where we look forward to celebrating leadership and contributions by women across the planning profession.
Planning has a powerful influence on how communities live, access services, and connect with opportunities. Women leaders in the profession continue to bring perspectives that strengthen collaboration, social outcomes, and long-term thinking in how places are planned and delivered.
At PPC Urban, Hong has been instrumental in strengthening our work across a range of social infrastructure sectors, including childcare, SDA/NDIS, and healthcare. Her approach brings together planning strategy, data-driven insights, and a strong understanding of policy settings and commercial feasibility.
By combining market feasibility analysis, planning strategy, and close collaboration with specialist providers, Hong helps clients make more informed decisions about where to invest — and where not to. Her work focuses on reducing investment risk, directing capital into areas with genuine demand, and supporting projects that deliver meaningful social and community outcomes.
