Did you know that when you create a page, WhatsApp is added as the default contact button?

If you don’t use WhatsApp for your business, you’ll need to change this ASAP.

Some other options are Call Now, Contact Us (goes to email), Learn More (goes to a link/website), Message, Book Now, Sign Up etc.

I was talking to some Gen Z’s last night and even they didn’t realise you could do this 🤣

Go into your settings to choose your preferred Voice and to access more options.

Please, please, please put visual captions on your videos when someone is talking (even if they are not showing their face...well, ESPECIALLY if they are not showing their face!) 🎤

This is so easy to do these days, and will make sure that even more people will watch your video and get the main message!!

Like most people, my phone is on SILENT and I do not watch videos that have no captions or written information. Do you skip past too?

You could really be missing out on a lot of 'watch time' here, and it only takes a couple of extra seconds to add this feature!

This might seem harsh, but it’s true.
Customers are cautious these days, and they want to check who they are dealing with!

If you’ve only got a page, and it’s full of AI or ‘faceless’ content they are going to struggle to trust and connect with you.

Relying on Facebook also means you’ll struggle to get found on Google and the AI tools, and lots of people are leaving the platform altogether.

Having a separate online ‘home’ such as a Local Business Connect directory listing- or even a full website- is definitely very important!!!

This is why I’ve set LBC up, to give people an option that is affordable but still works well ☺️

Have you told your customers and followers about any changes due to the upcoming public holiday? This is really important‼️

Make sure you post about whether or not you'll be open, if you have any special deals or sales, are you involved in any local events, or if you will have a surcharge or limited staff etc. etc.

Do this NOW and do it again a couple of times in the lead up to any public holiday.

Another day, another entertaining stoush with a scammer trying to sell me a website for $300 🤣🤣🤣

They doubled-down this time…even using AI to alter a screen shot from Google showing that it says I don’t have one!

Please ignore/block/report any emails, texts (and now WhatsApp messages) you get from strangers about websites, SEO, domain name renewals etc etc

And feel free to post in my free Facebook group if you are ever unsure. We’re a friendly bunch of small biz owners all there to help each other through these things!!
