National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.

Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.

MeatCrew is a family owned business, aiming to provide high end butchery and smallgoods services, along with retail sales in their store.

Victorian Group Training would like to congratulate Angus Reid on the completion of his Plumbing apprenticeship. 👏

After a quick 4 years, Angus has been a reliable and productive member of the Colac Gas Plumbing and Maintenance team. With his good work Angus has been offered a Full-Time position with his Host Employer.

We want to wish Angus all the very best for his career in Plumbing and a massive thankyou to Mick, Emma and the team at Colac Gas Plumbing and Maintenance for teaming with us to provide ongoing support and outcomes for young people within our local community. 🙏

We’d like to congratulate Trixxie Boxell on winning the Employee of the month award for April!

Trixxie has shown outstanding dedication throughout her Commercial Cookery apprenticeship. She is always working hard, asking questions, and eager to learn new skills and try new things in the kitchen. 👏

Her positive attitude and willingness to keep improving make her a valued part of the team, and we’re excited to see her continue to grow in the industry.

A massive thanks to Mark, Nick and the team at Saints College for their ongoing support of Trixxie and young people in the region. 🙏

We’re currently looking for a Security Technician to join the team at Stevcom Colac as a full-time employee or the potential to start a Full-Time traineeship completing a Certificate III Telecommunications.

StevCom is a 100 percent Australian security and data cabling company that delivers simple solutions for businesses by offering a full range of communication services that include security, access control, CCTV system installations, public address systems and Copper & Optical fibre Structured cabling..

The role includes but is not limited to
• Data, Security & CCTV cabling
• Installation of Security & CCTV Systems
• Understanding of basic IT networking
• Maintenance and trouble shooting
• Have the ability to speak to clients and work in a team environment
• A willingness to learn and further enhance their abilities

We’d like to congratulate Benjamin Waterfall on the completion of his Certificate III Engineering with Host Employer Allenby Engineering.

Benjamin has worked extremely hard throughout his apprenticeship, his attention to detail, hard work and can-do attitude have held him in good stead throughout his apprenticeship journey. Ben will continue as a full-time employee with Allenby Engineering, which a great outcome for all involved. 👏

A huge thanks to Carmen, Steve and the team at Allenby Engineering for Hosting Benjamin during his apprenticeship, we appreciate the support you show young people in our region.

👩🏻‍🍳𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 👨‍🍳

We are currently looking for apprentices to complete the Certificate III in Commercial Cookery at Searoad Ferries. This position is based at Searoad Ferries at their restaurant in Sorrento called Onda.

Onda is a coastal Mediterranean restaurant inspired by Sorrento, serving Neapolitan pizzas, seafood dishes and share plates with cocktails and drinks. Perfect for long lunches, relaxed afternoons, and lingering dinners. 🍕

We are looking for applicants who:
- Have a passion for cooking and the restaurant industry
- Have ability to work in a team environment
- Are open minded and have a willingness to learn
- Have a strong work ethic
- Are happy to give anything a go.
