WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The Colac Players today made a presentation to strongly oppose the privatisation of COPACC. Like many of you who have previously commented on Facebook, we feel the Centre was built to benefit our community and not a profiteering private entity. Our life member, Beryl Doak, campaigned tirelessly to have this facility built. The consultation period was short, lacking detail and poorly publicised and many in Colac are not aware of what council is trying to do. Please join us in lobbying the councillors directly as there is still time to influence their minds before their decision on 28 April.

The sheep are excited to shrug off their Woolly jumpers

ONE WEEK TO GO until our blade shearers and teams of knitters go head to head in the gripping International Back-to-Back Wool Challenge at Tarndie.

Join us at Tarndie on Saturday 21st March 2026 to cheer on the teams, grab a bite to eat and enjoy our market and woolly atmosphere! 🐑🐑🐑

This year marks the 30th year running of the challenge and our 3rd year of hosting teams.

The teams are again raising funds for Rare Cancers Australia.

Yeowarra Hill Food Van in place - all set up and ready to serve!

Preparations are almost complete! Now just waiting on market stalls holders to set up and competitors to arrive!

Hopefully you will be able to come along to Tarndie tomorrow (Saturday) and enjoy the atmosphere, watch some blade shearing demos and cheer on the teams.

Competition starts at 8am. We will be here all day! 🙂 There will be plenty of food and drinks and market stalls to look at!

Wild and windy day at Camperdown Cup yesterday but the crowd had fun nonetheless ! Consistently try to
