A bit of a late notice, the 22 Syrah is out and rolling!
Single vineyard, Yarra Valley, 20% whole bunch included. Primary followed by an extended maceration, malolactic fermentation in old barrels, sat in old barrels for 10 months prior to bottling, unfined and unfiltered.
Lively and buoyant, packed with perfume, violet flowers, dense, dark plum and blackberry, spices like cloves and juniper. a savoury, structured but sinewy tannin profile. Pour as it is or served chilled on a warmer day.
