The godfather of Yarra Valley grape varieties delivers once again. ⁠
⁠
Sourced from the grey alluvial loams of Coldstream, the W**ery Block was planted in 1996 using a mixed clonal selection taken from our original 1970s vineyard. Today, this treasured site continues to yield fruit of outstanding quality, creating a supremely refined, classic Yarra Cabernet.⁠
⁠
Expect a captivating nose of blackcurrant and dark blue fruits, underpinned by a fresh aromatic lift of wild mountain herbs—oregano, rosemary, and thyme. On the palate, flavours arrive in waves. Black and red currants mingle with cassis, to***co, and subtle char, all wrapped in effortlessly melted tannins for a beautifully long, fine, and focused finish.⁠

NEW RELEASE - 2024 864 OAKRIDGE CLOSE PLANTED BLOCK SYRAH ✨⁠

From the grey alluvial loams of our home vineyard in Coldstream comes a beautifully weighted and inviting Syrah.⁠
⁠
Planted at a high density of 5,200 vines per hectare, this east-facing block weathered a dramatic 2024 growing season—starting with heavy early rains and ending with a record-dry finish—to deliver fruit of exceptional concentration.⁠
⁠⁠
Expect an extravagant bouquet of dark cherry, black olive, and mocha, lifted by white pepper and violets from the judicious use of whole-bunch fermentation. Voluminous blackberry and dark plum take centre stage on the palate, sewn together with baking spices and a delightful hint of dark orange chocolate. Perfectly balancing fruit sweetness with sinewy, matte-textured tannins, this w**e is—quite simply—a warm and gentle hug in a glass.⁠

We’ve just been awarded the 2026 Regional Trophy for the Yarra Valley at the 9th annual ! 🏆

Congratulations to our entire viti and w**ery team for their teamwork and achievement with the 2025 Vineyard Series Hazeldene Pinot Noir. Described by the judges as fresh and elegant with mint and black tea tannins, it perfectly captures the region. Keep an eye out—it will be officially released in the coming weeks.

This is our second time claiming this trophy recently, following our 2023 win for the 2022 Willowlake Vineyard Pinot Noir. The competition was stronger than ever this year, with Chair of Judges Tom Carson noting: “With 320 entries from 20 regions across Australia, this year’s Challenge showcased the exceptional quality of the 2025 vintage and the strength of Australian Pinot Noir.”

Congratulations to all the regional winners, with a special shout-out to the overall national winner, Decades from Tasmania, and the duo behind it, Steve Flamsteed and Brad Rogers.

Welcome back to Woori Yallock. After a one-year hiatus (with our 2024 release hailing from Hazeldene Block 1), our flagship 864 Pinot Noir returns to its familiar home at the Henk Aqueduct Block—delivering a powerful and deeply savoury expression of classic Upper Yarra character.⁠
⁠
Planted in red volcanic soils in 2008, this north-facing MV6 block thrived during the beautifully balanced 2025 growing season, producing fruit of exceptional concentration and structure.⁠
⁠
Expect a bold, heady bouquet of dark cherry, plum, and blueberry lifted by five-spice and fresh florals. On the palate, a rich core of dark fruit meets flecks of graphite and dark bramble. Earthy and inherently savoury, this is a firmly structured w**e that balances notable fine tannins with a velvet texture—an ageworthy release set for an exciting journey through time. From the red volcanic soils of Woori Yallock comes a true expression of modern Australian Chardonnay.⁠

Planted in 2008 using the Dijon clone 95, the Henk Aqueduct Block is the highest and coolest vineyard we source Chardonnay from, producing exceptional fruit that has once again been elevated to 864 status.⁠

Expect intense aromas of freshly squeezed lemon, white flowers, and toasted hazelnuts woven with subtle flint. On the palate, a cool, driving line of acidity cuts through mouth-filling citrus and a deft touch of charred caramel.
