One of our favourites, the popular Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa has launched a new Luxury Family room category for families looking to stay in style and upgrade on their next Fijian holiday.

The new Luxury Family room is ideal for families who enjoy outdoor living and offers extra space, freedom and entertainment options. Geared towards those travelling with kids, Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa's 16 new Luxury Family rooms are located on the ground floor with direct access to the beach, lawn and the world-famous lagoon pool.

Luxury Family rooms have really fun bunk-bed style single beds and by popular demand, the family room children's area comes with bean bags, playstation3 and separate dedicated LCD TV.

Sofitel Fiji also include new complimentary Wi-Fi facilities available throughout the resort including all of the conference and event venues, lobby, restaurants, bar and poolside areas.

To celebrate the launch of its new look rooms, Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa is offering special introductory bed and breakfast package for Luxury Family rooms priced from FJ$450 (approx. AUD$270) per room per night. The deal includes a welcome drink and cold towel on arrival at the resort, complimentary buffet breakfast for two adults and two children at Lagoon Restaurant, and accommodation in a new Luxury Family Room. Bookings can be made until the 28th of February for travel from now until the 31st of March 2014.

Marriott International has assumed management of the heritage property, formerly known as The Sebel Pier One Sydney.

The hotel will now be known as Pier One Sydney Harbour and is the first in Australia to be part of Marriott’s new Autograph Collection.

To celebrate its inauguration into the Autograph Collection and for a limited time, Pier One Sydney Harbour is offering guests who stay two nights or more a complimentary upgrade to a water view suite with breakfast for two and double Marriott Rewards points.
