Very pleased to have delivered our final report for a project today for an industrial minerals client. It was very interesting work combining in-depth scientific literature research with process plant and laboratory site visits, in order to review and audit their current practices. We've made a number of very practical recommendations related to laboratory equipment upgrades and process improvements, provided detailed R&D laboratory protocols to investigate enhancements to existing product lines and new product development initiatives, and commented on business strategy opportunities. Looking forward to assisting with the implementation of some of these recommendations and watching the company soar.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks for me at Collabs Scientific Services!
I took on two more Collie Futures Small Grants writing contracts, spent a day in Perth meeting with two sets of industrial chemistry consultancy clients and two very valued mentors, went to a workshop on using social media for business in Bunbury, attended Business After Hours in Collie and chatted with a variety of small business owners all shooting for the stars as Collie transitions away from coal and towards new sustainable industries, signed up to offer my services on a second online expert platform, submitted a technical report to a major WA minerals client, drafted a couple more SOPs for a startup client, and even found time to take my daughter out for lunch twice, and go for a couple of short hikes in the State Forest areas around Collie. Currently winging my way to Victoria for a week-long site visit with an industrial client - and of course I will take a few days to drive the Great Ocean Rd and hike the Great Otways afterwards!

More good news for Collie. Fantastic to see Cannaponics, Magnium Australia, and International Graphite are all announcing major funding wins today. This comes after IGs announcement yesterday that they have also secured the land for their battery anode material industrial facility in Collie.
Collie’s new industries are definitely starting to take shape.
