Add a card fee at the checkout? There is one job worth sorting before 1 October 💳

From that date, you can no longer surcharge Eftpos, Mastercard or Visa, in store or online. Amex and PayPal sit outside it.

The task people leave too late is switching it off at the point of sale, so test it early. And renaming it an admin fee does not work, the ACCC treats that as misleading.
