Oxidised tape stains are very difficult to remove completely, but we can draw away some of the discolouration this way!

This poor poster had spent much of its life as a lining under floor boards. We filled the little holes created by insects munching on the paper and toned the fills to make the poster look whole again.

Before and after. Aside from linen backing, there were just a few little fills and some minor retouching of the folds.

Got a new wash tray and drying rack situation from . My washing workflow has never been more straightforward and compact.

Today I’m removing an old fabric backing from a map of Sydney and giving the whole piece a rinse before relining. I’ve included a photo of the wash water after I drained the tray because who doesn’t love some nice dirty water after a wash.
