🌑 Total Solar Eclipse taking place in this Thursday at 3:05am Queensland time.
♌ This eclipse will take place in the fixed fire sign of Leo (20 degrees Leo, to be exact). As such, its effects will be long-lasting to months afterwards (some astrologers give it even up to a year), though the first couple of weeks to 3 months is usually taken to be most potent. It is a very powerful, significant time, when things or people either come in, or leave our lives. Leo is the sign of leaders, so I would expect notable leaders to either rise to power or be removed from power; it's also associated with uprisings and war - it's a dynamic fire sign, after all! (I'm gonna throw my hat in and say early October, when Jupiter moves through the eclipse degree, is a time to watch for these effects).
✨ This aside, this is a "south node" eclipse, a point associated with spirituality, letting go, doing charitable work and being generous, paying dues, releasing and cleansing. Perfect time to take time out for quiet, meditation, personal work, withdraw from the busyness of life and declutter inside and outside.
It must be said that an eclipse is most personally felt when it makes a close point of contact with one's personal planets, so for many people this will not actually be the case. Still, a great time to rest and work on the inner world ✨
