šŸ’” THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX!!!

A few weeks ago, we received a call from a customer in Benowa nearing the end of a major home renovation.

The plasterboard was going up the very next day, and security and technology had become a last-minute thought! šŸ˜¬

Stopping the build wasnā€™t an option, so we had to get creative!

We had room to work at the front of the property, but the rear extension was pretty much a no-go for running cables.

After chatting with the customer, we discovered garden poles were being installed as part of the landscaping.

šŸ’” And thatā€™s where the solution came in!

Using existing data points, we designed a wireless link to one of the new poles, allowing us to install cameras looking back towards the house AND provide long-range WiFi coverage to the pool area and beyond!

But we didnā€™t stop there!

āœ… European-designed AJAX alarm system protecting doors, internal areas and external zones.

āœ… Smart garage door controllers for remote access and control.

āœ… Router relocation and long-range WiFi access points throughout the property.

āœ… Partnered with the fantastic team at Garage Door Doctor for two new garage motors and additional security locks.

These cameras are absolutely insaneā€¦ full AI capabilities and literally full colour at night, they are the best cameras we have worked with so far for clarity and capabilities

Security systems that work. Installed by professionals. Supported after the job is done.

Weā€™ve recently had a spate of call outs from new customers who have either purchased and installed security cameras themselves, or paid someone to install a system only to find they canā€™t get the installer back when something goes wrong.

And sometimes, the frustrating part is that the customer actually has a really good security system.

The equipment isnā€™t the problem.

Weā€™ve attended properties where quality cameras and security systems have simply been plugged in, added to a customerā€™s phone and left at that.

No proper configuration.
No optimisation.
No explanation of how the system works.
No consideration of camera positioning or detection areas.
And, in some cases, the customer didnā€™t even realise just how capable the system they had purchased actually was.

A good security system is only as good as its installation, configuration and ongoing support.

When choosing someone to protect your home or business, donā€™t just compare the price of the equipment.

Do your homework.

Ask who is installing it.
Ask about their experience.
Ask what happens if you need help six months down the track.
Ask whether the system will be properly configured and demonstrated to you.
And most importantly find out who will actually answer the phone when you need them.
